Solitaire Klondike: Learn How to Play

Since computers entered each and every household, classroom and office, solitaire became the most popular game. It is simple to learn, easy to play, and addictive because of its simplicity. But that was ages ago, and people have begun to grow tired of that same old game. As a result, they turned to new variations and Klondike is the most popular of them.

Ironically, its not a new game. The term Klondike as a game surfaces somewhere in the latter part of the nineteen hundred, and historians suggest that it evolved from miners in the Alaskan and Californian mountains to pass the time.

How Can You Play Klondike?
This is not a difficult game to learn, but what’s good is that though you will get the hang of it quickly, its difficult to beat in an addictive way. Its not frustrating, but fun and invigorating. One of the things you must learn is how to lay the cards out.

1) Start by placing one card on the table in front of you. Place it facing up.
2) Place another six cards to its left, but keep these facing down.
3) Place a card facing up to the card left of the first card you placed down.
4) Add another card facing down to all the remaining cards a bit below them so as to form a column. Likewise, continue by placing one open card and then by adding a closed card to the rest.

If you follow the instructions properly, you should have it so that last column will have seven cards. Check also that you have twenty-four cards in your hand because these are the cards you will play with.

Now What?
What you have to try and do is place all the cards on the four different aces. …

10 Things to Know Before You Visit Dubai Safari Park

When people think about visiting exotic places like Dubai, they often conjure up visions of high-rise hotels with sleek shopping malls under construction and glitzy indoor ski slopes. But if you’re looking for something off the beaten path, one where you can see wildlife without leaving civilization, then take a tour on a dromedary (or “one-humped”) camels’ back and explore this city from a unique perspective.

Dubai is located between Oman and Saudi Arabia along the Persian Gulf coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Its location makes it strategically important as well as popular among tourists who want to experience Middle Eastern culture and history while traveling within the region. In fact, more than 15 million visitors come here each year.

While most stay in the modern part of town called Deira, those interested in experiencing life outside the tourist hub will find themselves drawn toward the old city known as Burj Al Arab. This area was originally inhabited by nomadic Arabs until the early 20th century when wealthy European businessmen built opulent resorts on what were once sand dunes and desert oases. Today, Dubai has become a global business center and tourism destination that attracts world travelers from all over.

The following pages have tips for planning excursions into the heart of Dubai. From animal encounters to hotel recommendations to transportation options, we’ve got you covered.

1. The Best Time to Go

While Dubai isn’t exactly cold during the winter months, temperatures tend to be cooler in January and February. Summertime also tends to bring out the crowds, so avoid going during peak season unless you really need to save money.
In addition to avoiding heat waves, keep an eye on the monsoon season (September through November). During these times, rain may interrupt some activities such as boat trips and …

Things to Include in a Travel Brochure

The travel brochure is your best tool for attracting new customers. In this article, we’ll cover how to create a design that appeals to the widest audience.

How to make a travel brochure that looks stunning

What does a Travel Brochure mean to You: What image and purpose can you expect? Maybe it towers over your visitors while they’re browsing on their phones. Maybe, however, it sits neatly in an A5 envelope as one piece of mail out of thousands every week or without any particular attention at all. Either way is fine; the promotional tool becomes more effective with every approach you take.

If your brochure designers mock up different shapes and sizes (above), then how will it actually look in print? The answer is largely down to the way a reader holds their phone, so test out each version on actual readers or have printed samples of all designs before finalizing one for distribution. It might also be worth considering certain colors better suited to older viewers and passive consumers that can be warmed up with more traditional materials.

The key takeaway here is to know your out-of-home advertising audience and their various stages of interest, depending on how you approach them. Are you aiming at active users? Then look for bright colors or exuberant imagery that can really capture their attention; are you aiming at a boredom market?

Stick to dark tones and conservative design – keeping only the core message in white letters against an off-black background. or are you creating something that hangs in public areas or is part of an orderly queue for sale?

Then composition should be simple, with plenty of white space between the images – literally inviting a reader to jump into your design. No matter which form it takes and …

Save Time And Money On Theme Park Days

Many people, especially families, can be put off visiting big theme parks because of the costs. Once you’ve added up the entry fee, the on-site catering, the travel, the souvenirs and any other expenses, it can turn out to be an expensive day out. Here are some ways you can enjoy the thrills without counting the cost:

1. Buy tickets online

Most major theme parks let you buy tickets online and these are often cheaper than the prices at the gate. Alton Towers, the UK’s biggest theme park, charges around 20% less for online tickets than it does at the front gates, and that’s a saving that can make a big difference to your day out.

2. Take your lunch with you

Theme park catering can be expensive, and it’s not always the sort of food you want to eat. Save money by packing a picnic – there’s nearly always somewhere nice to sit and eat – and your time is better spent queuing for rides than for food. Be aware that most theme parks will want to check your bags as you go through the gates, but it’s worth 5 extra minutes there for the cost saving.

3. Think before you buy

Souvenir shops are very tempting, but stop to think before you buy something themed after every ride. Limiting your budget means that you are far more likely to buy something you really want, rather than bits and pieces that you’ll never look at or use.

4. Stay close to the park

A lot of theme parks have hotels on site, which is handy, but expensive. Instead, try a guest house or a bed and breakfast that’s close by. That way, you can stay for much less, but with the park still only a short drive away. And …

Looking for a rewarding and memorable family vacation idea? A cattle drive may be just the thing. We’re talking about real ranchers on real working cattle ranches. Ranch vacations are a good way for them to help support the ranch. But it’s not all business with them. They want to share their way of life and educate people about a quickly disappearing aspect of our American history and culture.

Spoilyourself At Disneyland

To you, Disneyland is all about fun, excitement, and activities – but you would be wrong because not only that, Disneyland is also about relaxation and pampering. The pampering you gain from Disneyland may not be as best as you would probably have from a world class spa, but it would give you enough relaxation and make you feel special like the other world spa do.

The easiest way to get pampered on your Disneyland vacation is to stay at one of the Disneyland resorts, and then upgrading your room to the other room that offers Concierge services which would cost you a bit higher and the room price would be up to $300 per night, but the service you get would bring you out of this world.

This is because, first of all, your room would be greatly nicer with Concierge servic. With this, you would be offered with free bottles of water, soft drinks, coffee, and tea at all times. You can also check in and out faster at the Concierge check in counter, and a nightly turndown service is also provided.

Moreover, you will gain accesses to the Concierge lounge which will really pamper you! You will enjoy a continental breakfast in the lounge every morning. And you can also request a room serviced breakfast. In the afternoon, while your kids are watching Disney Videos, you will be also enjoying tasty wines in the lounge .

There are numbers of perks available with the Concierge service, which would be different in each resort. To determine whether the Concierge service will benefit you and your family, just call the resort that you are interested in and ask considering, and simply ask what perks are providedwith this service, asking them to ask their concierge desk to ensure accurate information.…

Thank Goodness For Our French Translator

I love almost everything about travel. I love the wonder and the newness of entering a culture that I have never been to before. I love meeting new people, trying new customs, and getting aquainted with the foods and drinks that people around the world love dearly. One thing, however, that I always struggle with in my travels is communication. While many people in the world speak English even if it is not their first language, I hate being the tourist that enters a new land and expects people to do things on my terms. So when I was preparing to spend a month working on a photography book in France, I was most happy to have the services of a French translator.

When my company told me that they were sending me and a team of three other photographers to France to get initial shots for a tour of France photojournalism book, I could not have been more excited. That is, until they told us that we would be staying with French people, doing French things, and learning to see France through the eyes of the native people. I was nervous about having to communicate with the French in their own language since I had barely made it through two years of high school French. My French translator was the best resource during that trip.

Our French translator was an amazing French woman that was more than happy to accompany us on the month long journey all around her native country. We met her at the airport and she never made us feel anything but safe and at home in her native land. I took a special liking to our French translator, I guess partly because she was doing the hard work of crossing the language barrier that I …

How To Become A Professional Travel Blogger: A Guide For Beginners

Blogging is a great way to make money, but it’s not as simple as just getting a blog up and running. You’ll need to do some research, learn the basics of SEO and blogging, and establish your own style. Here is everything you need to know about becoming a professional travel blogger.

Since this is a guide for beginners, we’ll start from square one: what you need to get started. There are a lot of different things to think about before starting a blog or website, so here are the most important things you should think about.

What You Need to Start a Blog

1. You’ve got to have a website. Your blog will live on your website, so you’ll need to register a domain and hosting.
2. Once you get your website set up, you’ll need content. You may find that coming up with content is the hardest part about blogging, but there are several ways to get around this:

– The easiest way is to simply write about what interests you and what you’re passionate about traveling, for example! If this sounds like something that’s not quite your speed or if it gets tiresome after a while, though, other options exist. You can use sites like Blogger or WordPress to create blog posts with templates and other pre-existing content like recipes or how-to guides.

– You could also use an outline of topics and write one post per topic. This may take more time than other methods, but it allows you to structure your blog into sections without having to come up with topics all at once.

Research and Planning Your Blog

The first and most important step in becoming a professional travel blogger is to research and plan your blog. You want to think about what your …
