True story: On Christmas Eve 2016, I was watching YouTube videos on how to do basic maintenance on the sewing machine my daughter would get the next morning from her grandparents. For me, the biggest surprise from those videos was that sewing machines have an upper and lower thread.
Fast forward to March 2017, I had signed myself up for two sewing classes at Joann’s, but because my daughter wouldn’t allow me to use her sewing machine (“You’re going to break it!”), I was impatiently waiting for my own sewing machine to be delivered the same day as my first class.
A year later, I find new projects every week to expand my skill set in quilting and piecing.
I would love for you to follow me on my journey! Maybe we can learn together!
